Andrei + Lorena | Phoenix, Arizona Wedding

Andrei and Lorena’s wedding was by far the rainiest wedding day I have photographed in Arizona. The downpour that morning was unreal. We originally planned an outdoor location to go take bridal portraits at but since it heavily rained the night before and into the morning we knew that not much was dry. I remember shooting details the morning of the wedding while answering phone calls in between with the wedding planner to try and find a resort we can go to. Luckily The Scott Resort in Scottsdale was willing to let us stop by for an hour and use their gorgeous indoor lobby. By then the sun came out and we were able to snag some shots outdoor as well. But let me tell you despite the last minute change of plans, the bride and groom were so relaxed and happy and that is always, always, always, what makes any wedding day photo beautiful. I love when couples don’t stress over the uncontrollable details and roll with the day, entrusting me to capture their best self despite the situation. For those that know the bride know that she has the most gentle voice and is found smiling 24/7, so I really am not kidding when I say, my couple was laid back and enjoyed their rain wedding day to the fullest. Loved this wedding so much from beginning to end.
