Josephine | Salt Lake River Senior Session

Nothing beats spring in the desert in Arizona. We are not the greenest state but we definitely have our fare share of wild flowers. And this senior session had its fair share of craziness haha 

We had this shoot planned in early April, which happened to fall on the week that the state of Arizona closed down most of the recreational areas around town. For some reason that detail skipped right over my head and when we got to Salt Lake  River, every single parking lot was CLOSED. Also, every 2 feet there were “ Do Not Park” signs with a sherif driving around handing out parking tickets. I was stressing!! 

Its unfortunate enough that all seniors lost the whole second half of their school year, graduation, events, and all the fun stuff that comes with finishing high school, and now Josephines senior photos felt “cancelled” too! This girl is so beyond patient and understanding, I really was way more stressed out than she was and luckily she came with her best friend and sister who were life savers. We ended up being dropped off at one location by the river by her friend so we can go shoot for an hour while the friend drove around, eliminating the need to find parking. In the end the session turned out to be a blast and quite the adventure. Loved photographing this beauty  and I am sure her senior year events will be ones to remember including her senior session!
