Toby + Julia | San Xavier Mission Engagement

I was so excited when Julia reached out to book me for her wedding! I’ve known and photographed Julia before and that session itself was a sunrise session so you all ready know she is going to keep you on your toes about her engagement photos. I woke up at 4 am for her then and would have gone to sleep at 4 am if needed to make the drive to and back to photograph in Tucson. When she shared that she wanted to shoot their engagement session at the San Xavier Mission down in Tucson I was THRILLED. So excited not only about the location but as well as the couple who I was going to photograph. Julia and Toby are such a relaxed and laid back couple that they make everyone around them feel so good. I remember the day of the shoot, one of them… not going to say who.. forgot a belt at home and had to turn back around placing us a little ( a little more than little) behind schedule. I remember telling my husband that usually when couples run late they go from feeling relaxed to stressed rather quickly and it takes a bit to loosen them up and let go of that frustration. Of course Julia and Toby pull up to pick me up laughing and smiling from ear to ear. Thats them, not stressed by a belt or time, just happy to be together. Cant wait for the wedding, although I have my work cut out for me to get the groom to smile! Enjoy this beautiful San Xavier Mission engagement session.
